Atlantis In The Bahamas? Has the evidence finally been found?

The Search For Edgar Cayce's Atlantis—DVD documentary Updated

In the last issue of AP, Dr. Lora Little and Dr. Greg Little detailed the most recent discovery made near Bimini in the Search for Atlantis Project. Under 90-feet of water and on the edge of the 10,000 BC shoreline, a series of well-spaced, similarly oriented rectangular and square formations have been found. These formations are not connected to each other with areas of a flat sandy bottom spaced between them. They are all the size and shape of buildings, platforms, and even occasionally seem to have ramps and mutiple tiers. In places what appear to be smaller stone blocks are seen in the sides of the formations giving them the appearance of buildings. However, all of the structures are covered with dense coral growth. The illustration above is an archaeological reconstruction of the 35 structures that were found using side-scan sonar in an area roughly 100 yards wide and 400 yards long. Also shown are three photos of the formations taken from underwater video of the structures. In brief, these may have been buildings along what was the 10,000 BC shoreline, dating them to time of Atlantis. They seem to look like what one would expect to find if stone structures were under the ocean surface for 12,000 years—coral encrusted stone wall foundations. The dvd documentary, The Search For Edgar Cayce's Atlantis, has been updated and now includes closeup video of these formations. In addition, a new History Channel series, entitled MysteryQuest, will show high definition film of the formations—as well as other features at Bimini—with the airing date currently scheduled for November 4, 2009. More Bermuda Triangle Planes Found

During expeditions to Andros, the Great Bahama Bank, and Bimini starting in 2003, Drs. Greg & Lora Little unexpectedly started finding crashed planes both on land and underwater. When a tail of one of the planes was confirmed to be from a plane that reportedly disappeared into the Bermuda Triangle, the Littles started to examine the planes in more detail. To date, they have found 14 planes, with 3 of them probably reported as lost in the Triangle. One plane, a DC3, was investigated by the Littles with a crew from the National Geographic Channel. Another plane, in deeper water, will be shown on an episode of the History Channel's new series, MysteryQuest, on October 7, 2009.

What Is Underneath Giza? Andrew Collins' new book, Beneath The Pyramids, to detail stunning discovery The Cayce organization (the ARE) has quietly sponsored a flurry of research at Giza in the past few years. In recent months a project was completed which drilled several holes near the Sphinx to investigate areas where prior researchers had found possible evidence of a tunnel system containing chambers. Unfortunately, when remote cameras were placed down the drill holes, it was discovered that water had filled the large cavities below. More investigation of this site is being planned. Meanwhile, the long-awaited release of British science writer Andrew Collins' new book, Beneath The Pyramids, is close, with the book supposedly to be released in September. Collins actually managed to find an opening into a cave complex that extends under Giza. The precise location of the entrance to the caves is revealed in the book but in this issue of AP Collins summarizes the discovery. Private meetings with Dr. Zahi Hawass, who heads the organization verf the Giza plateau as well as other Egyptian antiquities, have led to two decisions: The entire cave system will be thoroughly explored and the entrance will be gated and locked. No date has been set for the exploration. Hawass and Egyptologists were not previously aware of the caves and tunnels and Collins actually found the entrance after following clues from his own Cygnus theory and then obtaining confirmation of the entrance he discovered in an obscure journal found in the British Museum. The ARE sponsored several of Collins' expeditions to Giza during which he explored several hundred yards into the caves taking hundreds of photos and film. The caves are huge and completely dry and have areas where the stone sides are carved. The book tells the entire story as well as containing extensive photos. The actual beginning of Collins' discovery at Giza can be traced to speculations in his earlier book, The Cygnus Mystery. In that book, the story is told of an engineer who made calculations showing that the stars of the Cygnus constellation actually fit the pyramids at Giza better than the often-cited Belt of Orion. While a firestorm of controversy ensued, pitting Orion versus Cygnus proponents, Collins went quietly about the business of determining if all the stars of Cygnus were actually represented by some important structures at Giza. What Collins found probably will not sway the Orion proponents, but the discovery that the Belt of Orion has to be turned upside down to just get "close" to matching the pyramids hasn't swayed them either. In short, the Orion at Giza suggestion led people to view how the ancients might have oriented significant structures in a different way, but it did not lead to any real discoveries. Orion's Belt may coincidentally seem to fit the three main pyramids at Giza—after turning it upside down and greatly enlarging the stars, but nothing else of significance seems to fit the idea. On the other hand, Collins' Cygnus at Giza correlation not only fit the pyramids almost perfectly, but it has led to what may turn out to be the most important discovery ever made at Giza. It pointed to an actual entrance as well as leading to other significant finds. _________________________________________ Crop Circles—Revealing The Source Collins is also well known the UK for his early work on UFOs and crop circle research. His most recent book, The New Circlemakers, tells of his own involvement in researching the crop circle mystery nearly from the moment of its inception. He concludes that some crop circles may well come from energies and forces that are not yet understood, but that those made by human hands are not necessarly hoaxes and should not be labelled such. Many of the people making the more complex crop circles appear to be guided by a higher intelligence source and experience altered consciousness while making the formations. In brief, the mystery ay actually be far deeper than anyone thought. Collins' The New Circlemakers is a deep, thought-provoking book that is one of the best ever written about the complex and intriguing phenomenon.
