If Las Vegas is a place that you’re fond of to vacation, gamble and get away from it all in (as it is for many), then this book may be especially interesting and thought-provoking for you. This book contains 18 true captivating ghost stories, complete with wonderful artistic illustrations. At the beginning of this book, you’re introduced to the two men and two women who make up the core of the Las Vegas Society of Supernatural Investigations (LVSSI) and whose case studies include those 18 ghost stories described in this book. The author shares how she once saw the apparition of a headless woman (witnessed by a friend also) back in 1987, when she was a student in London, England. Not only was this woman headless, but she sat in front of an entire wall of mirror and oddly the ghost’s image was not reflected in it! __________________________________________________________ The Alien Connection by Gregory Harold Dog Ear Publishing • 4010 W. 86th Street, Ste H • Indianapolis, IN 46268 2008, 169 pages, US 14.95 Reviewed by Brent Raynes Back in 1974, the author and his family’s Florida home seemed to have become the target of vandals. The first incident was some shrubs that they had planted that died overnight. They were covered in a white foamy substance. Then a screen enclosure around the swimming pool in the back yard was cut in several different places. Then a car tire had puncture holes in it. Then someone had thrown something like acid on the back of the car, as a foamy liquid covered the trunk and the chrome bumpers. They didn’t know who was doing it. They suspected neighborhood kids, but there was no proof. So they decided to set up a security camera outside in hopes of catching the culprits. The first images, which they thought initially was of a child, showed a small figure who was wearing something like a football helmet. The small figure appeared to be “floating in the air,” but they knew that couldn’t be the case. The child must have been wearing dark clothing. There had to be a rational and logical explanation. The filming continued for six years, up into 1980, and this book contains over 100 photographs from that process. The films showed images of beings who appeared to be about three foot tall, beings who changed in appearance as they moved from one location to another. There were also strange floating balls of light, light beams, ghostly forms, and assorted other anomalous images. Eyewitnesses have also seen with their own eyes UFOs in this area. Gregory Harold feels that he somehow got very lucky and captured multiple images of something unworldly that trespassed repeatedly onto his property. __________________________________________________________ Time And Time Again: My Family And Reincarnation by Kenneth N.
