The author didn’t just research the material for this book. He grew up listening to his father and his grandfather recount fascinating and personal details of Romani life. He watched his grandmother read tarot cards and tell fortunes. His grandfather was actually the first of the Buckland Gypsies to give up life on the road and settle down into a permanent house. It certainly adds a whole extra dimension to the subject matter. It includes such titles as A Mobsters Dream, The King, Mr. Showmanship, The Black Pyramid, The Return of Mr. Foxx, For The Devil, to name several. Some of these audio reenactments are of supernatural stories never heard or told before. In addition, it’s presented in a way that entertains as it informs. Very enjoyable. | ||
